COMP Cams Sportsman Solid Roller Lifter Set w/ Bushing for Chevrolet Big Block

This set includes 16 COMP Cams Sportsman Solid Roller Lifters, each featuring a bronze bushing axle/wheel setup. These lifters are specifically designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines, offering a lighter weight upgrade compared to other options and a value alternative to high-end race lifters. They are built from 8620 steel for increased strength and wear resistance.

COMP Cams engineered these lifters with a focus on improved oiling and strength. Each lifter has two pressurized EDM oil feeds to the axle and an edge orifice feed to the wheel, ensuring a more consistent oil supply. The design also includes a shallower oil band for increased rigidity and internal machining to reduce weight. A skirted wheel design strengthens the lifter ears and provides more contact area within the lifter bore for better stability. The staked axles eliminate clips, offering robust and permanent axle retention that further stiffens the lifter ears and prevents spreading.

These lifters are suitable for a wide range of Chevrolet vehicles, including models like the 1967-1975 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1967-1972 Chevrolet Biscayne, and 1973-1974 Chevrolet Blazer, among many others. The tall body design allows for use in both standard and .300" tall lifter bores, contributing to increased strength and reduced lifter bore wear.
