COMP Cams Spring Seats Eb LS1 Beehive - Set of 100

What you get in this set are 100 spring seats, specifically designed for LS1 Beehive style valve springs. These aren't your typical shims; they're made from a hardened steel alloy, built to handle the high spring pressures and RPMs common in performance engine builds. They serve a dual purpose: protecting the cylinder head and the shim itself from the spring's force, while also ensuring the spring stays securely in place.

COMP Cams developed these with an inside diameter (I.D.) locator. This means the locating shoulder is on the inside, fitting into the spring cup, which is a more straightforward design compared to older external-locating cups that often required significant machining of the cylinder head. This updated design helps keep the spring centered and stable, contributing to more consistent valve train operation. The seats measure 1.300 inches in outer diameter, have a 0.510-inch inner diameter, and are 0.060 inches thick.
