This COMP Cams Sportsman Stainless Steel Exhaust Valve is built for street and competition engines. You get one exhaust valve with a 1.880-inch head diameter and a 5.454-inch overall length, featuring a 11/32-inch stem. It's designed to handle the demands of hydraulic, mechanical, and roller lifter valve trains.
These valves are made from a 21-4N forged steel alloy, which is known for its strength and durability. The stems are hard chrome-plated and have a hardened tip that's at least 50 HRc, meaning you don't need a separate lash cap. COMP Cams also added proprietary oil retention surfacing to the stems, which is more than just a thin plating. For improved airflow, there's a high-flow underhead fillet relief and swirl-polished fillets. This design helps increase flow without needing a larger valve diameter and also makes the valve more resistant to failure.
