These valves are made from a 21-4N forged steel alloy, which is known for its strength and durability. The stems are hard chrome-plated and feature a hardened tip, so you don't need to worry about using a lash cap. COMP Cams also incorporated a high-flow underhead fillet relief and swirl-polished fillets.
