When you're rebuilding the top end of your LS1 engine, especially for street or competition use, exhaust valves are a critical component. These COMP Cams Sportsman Stainless Steel Valves are made from a 21-4N forged high-strength steel alloy, chosen for its balance of performance and durability. The minimum 50 HRc hard tips mean they can handle the stress without needing a separate lash cap, simplifying installation and ensuring consistent valve train geometry.

These valves feature hard chrome-plated 11/32" stems that also incorporate a proprietary oil retention surfacing, not just a thin flash plating, which helps manage lubrication. To boost airflow without making the valve head any larger, COMP Cams designed in a high-flow underhead fillet relief. The swirl-polished fillets not only help increase flow rate but also reduce the chance of radial cracks, making them more resistant to failure under demanding conditions. This set includes 8 exhaust valves, each with a 1.57-inch head diameter and a 4.930-inch overall length, designed to fit your LS1 engine directly.
