If you're rebuilding the top end of your Chevrolet Small Block engine, these COMP Cams Sportsman Stainless Steel Exhaust Valves are a solid option. They're built for street and competition use, fitting a wide range of vehicles from classic Camaros and Corvettes to C10 pickups and Caprices.
These valves are made from a strong 21-4N forged steel alloy, which means they're built to last. The stems are hard chrome-plated and feature a hardened tip, so you don't need to worry about using a lash cap. COMP Cams also added a high-flow underhead fillet relief and swirl-polished fillets. This design helps increase airflow without needing a larger valve diameter, and it also makes the valves more resistant to cracking and failure.
This set includes 8 exhaust valves, each with a 1.600-inch head diameter and a standard 4.911-inch length, designed to work with hydraulic, mechanical, and roller lifter valve trains.
