Product Details
This product is a single COMP Cams Steel Retainer, designed to work with valve springs that have larger diameters and develop higher pressures. It's specifically made for engines using the COMP Cams 26095 Beehive valve spring.
Engineers used 3D CAD with FEA to create a contoured top profiling. This design helps lower stress, allows for increased lift, and reduces the overall mass of the retainer. The retainers are CNC-machined to very precise measurements using CAD/Cam software. They are made from high-grade SAE 4140 chromemoly steel and are designed for a 10-degree lock angle, fitting all valve stem sizes with a 1.185-inch spring diameter.
