This is the COMP Cams Turbo HRT Stage 1 Master Camshaft Kit, designed for Dodge 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI engines found in models from 2003 and newer. If you're building a turbocharged street application for your HEMI, this kit is a solid option for achieving noticeable gains in both throttle response and overall power.

The HRT series camshafts utilize advanced lobe designs from COMP Cams, specifically engineered to maximize horsepower and torque for forced induction setups. The "Low Shock Technology" (LST) profiles are crafted to enhance stability at higher RPMs while also being gentler on your valve springs, which can lead to improved durability and reduced load loss. Every HRT camshaft also goes through a Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process. This treatment reduces surface roughness, increasing the effective load-bearing area by 250% for greater strength and performance under high loads.

This Stage 1 kit is particularly well-suited for 5.7L HEMI engines with stock bottom ends paired with responsive street-style turbo systems. To ensure proper installation and function, this kit requires a COMP Cams DOD Delete Kit and upgraded valve springs (like the COMP Cams 26918 springs). For 5.7L-6.4L engines with VVT from 2009 and later, you'll also need a COMP Cams phaser limiter or lock kit.
