If you're rebuilding an engine or just doing some top-end work, keeping oil out of the combustion chamber is key. These COMP Cams valve seals are designed to do just that, fitting engines with 3/8-inch valve stems and .530-inch OD valve guides.
These aren't your basic seals. They use a positive-stop PTFE design, which offers better clearance for dual valve springs compared to standard O-ring or umbrella seals. The PTFE material provides excellent sealing, preventing unwanted oil from creeping past the valve guides and into your cylinders. The metal construction adds durability, and they fit right onto your 3/8-inch valves.
This set includes 12 seals, which is what you'll need for most 6-cylinder engines. They're a solid choice for ensuring a clean burn and preventing oil consumption through the valve guides.
