When you're rebuilding an engine or just doing some top-end work, keeping oil out of the combustion chamber is key. These COMP Cams valve seals are designed to do just that. They fit into the valve guides and seal around the valve stem, preventing oil from getting past and burning. This set is specifically for applications using 3/8 inch valve stems and valve guides that are 0.500 inches in outer diameter.
These aren't your basic seals. The PTFE material offers good sealing performance, and the "positive stop" design means they have more clearance for dual valve springs compared to simpler O-ring or umbrella seals. This makes them a solid choice when you're running a more aggressive spring setup. They have a .600 inch outer diameter, so make sure that matches your cylinder head setup.
