If you're rebuilding the top end of your engine, COMP Cams Valve Seals are a solid choice for keeping oil out of your combustion chambers. These seals are designed to fit applications with 5/16 inch valve stems and .530 inch valve guides, and they work with a wide range of classic Dodge and Plymouth engines from the late 60s and early 70s, like the Challenger, Charger, and Cuda.
Made from PTFE, these valve seals offer better sealing than traditional o-ring or umbrella seals. Their smaller diameter compared to COMP's umbrella seals also means they offer more clearance, which is especially helpful if you're running double valve springs. The positive stop design ensures they seat properly, preventing unwanted oil from entering the cylinder. With a .630 inch outer diameter, they are well-suited for .530 inch guides.
