It's designed to catch blow-by, which is a mix of gas, water, oil vapors, and particulates that can escape the combustion chamber. By trapping these contaminants before they re-enter your engine's air path, this catch can helps prevent damage to sensitive intake components and reduces the carbon buildup on valves that can decrease engine performance over time.

The catch can itself is constructed from 6061 aluminum, offering good resistance to corrosion. Inside, a multi-stage system uses chambers, baffles, and a bronze filter to separate the oil from the air. The included mounting brackets are made from 11-gauge aluminum and powder-coated for a secure and accessible mounting location, making serviceability easier. The threaded can housing and knurled bottom are designed for straightforward maintenance, and the generous 3 oz. capacity means you won't have to empty it too often.
