This allows for a fresh cylinder wall surface and can help restore compression if the original cylinders are worn. The compression ratio is set at 10.5:1, a popular figure that offers a good balance between increased power and pump gas drivability for many B-Series builds. These are forged pistons, meaning they are constructed from a solid block of aluminum that is heated and hammered into shape, making them significantly stronger and more resistant to detonation and high cylinder pressures than cast pistons.
