Product Details
Rein Premium Quality Haldex system AWD pumps are a direct replacement for the original units and come complete with fluid, oil filter, seal, cap, and mounting hardware. The Haldex AWD pump is a vital component of today's highly complex AWD drivetrain systems. Its job is to engage the rear axle the moment the computer senses traction loss at the front axle. The system is designed to engage the pump for 2 seconds in 20 second intervals keeping itself constantly primed, and as a result, causing the motor brushes to wear out over time. A second cause of failure is a clogged system filter placing additional strain on the motor resulting in premature burn-out. Replacing the coupling oil and filter, as often as the driving conditions call for, will ensure maximum Haldex pump and clutch pack life.
