Unlike standard oval tubes, CSF's B-tubes are seam-brazed and shaped to increase the heat transfer surface area by about 15%, effectively giving you the cooling efficiency of two smaller tubes in the space of one. The radiator also incorporates ultra-efficient, multi-louvered fins that are precisely aligned to maximize airflow through the core. CSF tests these fin designs in their wind tunnel to ensure maximum heat rejection. For vehicles with automatic transmissions, an upgraded plate-type transmission oil cooler is integrated into the side tank for improved cooling, and it comes pre-plugged for manual transmission applications.
