CTA Ford Camshaft Locking Set

• Services Ford 4.6L,
  5.4L & 6.8L 3V engines

• One tool locks camshaft and
  the other locks the timing chain

 

Instructions:

• Install camshaft sprocket and new
  camshaft bolt, and tighten the bolt manually

• Install tool and tighten the camshaft bolt to specific
  torque value according to original service manuals

• Install timing chain locking tool to lock the timing chain

• Make a mark across camshaft sprocket and timing chain

• Remove the camshaft sprocket for servicing

• Install the camshaft sprocket according to the original service manuals

• Remove timing chain locking tool

• CAUTION: Use hand tool and torque wrench for proper maintenance

• CAUTION: Never remove camshaft bolt holding tool while servicing
