For convenience, it includes a lockable cap to secure the contents, a 3/8 inch drainage plug, and a venting coupler. It's important to note that this tank is not designed for use as an auxiliary fuel system for your vehicle's primary engine. However, it can be connected to a gravity flow kit (sold separately) to syphon fuel directly into your vehicle's diesel tank, which is a common setup for work trucks or recreational vehicles needing extended range.

This auxiliary tank has been hydrostatically pressure tested to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements for auxiliary tanks and meets Federal DOT requirements for UN31B tanks. If you plan to use this tank to feed diesel directly into your fuel line, you'll need to purchase a connector kit like the Dee Zee DZ97960 or DZ97961 separately. Please be aware that this tank is intended for private use and is not CARB approved, meaning it cannot be shipped to California.
