Product Details
This kit includes one pre-cut, single-piece shield designed to block exhaust heat from entering your Corvette's transmission tunnel. A common issue with C6 Corvettes (2005-2013) is excessive heat radiating into the cabin through the console and tunnel. This shield is DEI's answer to that problem, aiming to significantly reduce the amount of heat transferred into the interior.
The shield is precision die-cut to fit perfectly and make installation straightforward. You don't need to remove the transmission tunnel plate; simply peel off the backing, position the shield, and press it into place. It's made with an outer material that can handle up to 1750 degrees of direct heat and an aggressive adhesive backing that holds firm past 450 degrees of heat. It's also extremely lightweight and unaffected by wind, water, or other harsh conditions.
