This matting is designed to reflect radiant heat away, keeping things cooler where you need it most. It's flexible and can be cut to size, making it adaptable for all sorts of applications around the engine bay or under the car.

This Heat Screen is built with a high-temperature resistant fiberglass material, measuring just .060 inches thick. On one side, it has a special aluminized mylar surface that can handle direct heat up to 1200°F, and it reflects radiant heat even better, up to 2000°F. It's great for protecting paint from blistering, keeping the fuel tank cool if an exhaust pipe runs nearby, or lining floorboards and under carpets. The adhesive backing makes installation straightforward, though you can also use fasteners if needed. Just remember not to apply it directly to exhaust components themselves.
