The DEI Turbo Shield T3 uses an exclusive combination of heat-resistant textiles and stainless steel attachment anchors to manage extreme underhood heat. This shield is specifically designed for T3 turbocharger housings, helping to protect painted or carbon fiber hoods from heat damage and also contributing to faster turbo spool times. By maintaining a more consistent temperature within the turbocharger, it increases exhaust velocity and overall efficiency.
This Onyx Series shield features a black carbon fiber look and is built with double-reinforced seams both inside and out for added durability. The strong riveted anchors ensure the shield stays securely in place, providing an ultimate thermal barrier. Unlike cheaper copies, DEI's construction aims for long-lasting performance in demanding engine bay conditions.
This offering is for the shield only. It includes one Onyx Series T3 Turbo Shield and a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel fastening wire for installation.
