The DFC Geoperformance brake rotors in this kit are coated with a special silver-gray finish that resists rust much better than standard paint or zinc coatings. This coating is designed to be safely swept away by the brake pads during normal use, saving you time and money on installation by eliminating the need to clean oily rotors. These rotors are made from G3000/G11H18 cast iron, meeting OEM specifications for durability and stability. They are machined to tight tolerances and finished with a non-directional pattern to help brake pads bed in faster and more evenly, leading to quieter, smoother stops.

The drilled holes in the rotors help reduce heat buildup, while the slots are designed to clear away brake dust and road debris, preventing pad glazing and improving stopping performance, especially in wet conditions. The included DFC 5000 Advanced brake pads are specifically formulated for each axle to ensure balanced braking, which is crucial for vehicles with ABS. These pads are 100% post-cured and scorched to minimize break-in time and provide strong stopping power from the first stop. They also feature rubber-steel-rubber shims to help reduce noise and vibration.
