Power Service Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost Fuel Additive (26 oz.)

Power Service Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost (silver bottle, part no. 3026) is a year-round diesel fuel additive that addresses two of the most common diesel performance problems simultaneously: injector fouling and low cetane number. It boosts the cetane rating of diesel fuel by up to 6 numbers, which translates to smoother combustion, reduced power lag, and faster cold starts. The product's detergent package removes both internal and external deposits from fuel injectors in High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) systems and older conventional injection systems alike.

The 26 oz bottle treats up to 100 gallons of diesel at the standard dose — or 50 gallons at the maximum-strength dose for accelerated injector clean-up. Power Service's Slickdiesel Lubricator additive is included in the formulation to compensate for the reduced lubricity of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel, protecting injection pumps and injectors from accelerated wear. Diesel Kleen is effective in all diesel fuels including ULSD and biodiesel blends, is Cummins-recommended, and is safe for use in all diesel engines with advanced emissions control devices including DPF, DOC, and EGR systems.

Note that Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost (silver bottle) is a warm-weather, year-round injector cleaner and is not an antigelling agent. For temperatures below 30°F, Power Service's Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost (white bottle) is the appropriate cold-weather product.
