What type of connector does this light use?

The Diode Dynamics SS3 LED pod uses a DT-type Deutsch-style connector. This is a common type of weatherproof connector used in automotive applications. A 6-inch pigtail with bare leads is included for easy wiring.

TIR stands for Total Internal Reflection. Instead of a standard reflector or lens, a TIR optic collects all of the light from the LED and directs it precisely where it's needed. This results in higher intensity and less wasted light.
