STEP 1: |

STEP 3: |
STEP 4: |
STEP 1:
Clean the surface area very well to remove all road film,
wax or other material
that may prevent a film bond.
Allow to dry before applying.
STEP 2:
With a tape measure and masking tape, lay down a straight line
of making tape the
entire length of the vehicle. The bottom edge of the tape
should be where you
want the upper edge of the molding.
STEP 3:
You will want a 1/8" gap at each door edge.
Starting at the front of your
vehicle, measure the section
of molding you will need to reach that gap. Use
pruning shears
or a sharp knife to bevel-cut the molding at a 45 degree angle.
STEP 4:
Press the molding along the bottom edge of your tape line.
Refer to step 3 and 4
as you do each section. Do not wash vehicle for 24 hours.

Body Side Moulding
Excelent Heavy Duty Product!!!
Body Side Molding
Good quality product with sufficient length for the job. No problem in installation by following the instructions.
Careful with longer lengths
I have a full-size GMC cargo van and did repairs from rocker panel rust-outs on both sides, so each side has one long strip plus small lengths. I found it VERY helpful to measure up from a natural body crease and place a small piece of colored tape every 8-10", wherein I used the bottom edge of said tape as a leveling guide as I moved along stripping about 2' at time of the adhesive backing paper off and kept guiding and uniformly pressing the molding to a level line. Prior to all of this I measured for length VERY carefully and cut the long pieces 1" longer than my actual measurement to allow for a slightly angled freehand end-cut at a point where I was about 6"s from the far-end of that piece of molding so I had some slack lead to work off of. IMPORTANT> I did BOTH long lengths first.
