When a control arm bracket on certain Jeep Wrangler, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SUVs bends or fails from rust or impact, the usual repair options are either a trip to the salvage yard to hunt for a used bracket or an entire new axle assembly from the dealer. Our Dorman OE FIX solution offers a much more affordable repair alternative that allows the replacement of just the damaged bracket, restoring this critical pivot point for the control arm. The front lower left bracket is constructed from rugged heavy-gauge steel and is designed to be welded into place after the removal of the original equipment bracket and proper surface preparation. It comes complete with an alignment/mounting bolt and eccentric washers for a seamless, secure fit and performance that is engineered for greater resistance to damage than the factory bracket.
