Need to tap into a circuit, but don't want to risk the damage that occurs with ordinary T-tap connectors? These locking tap connectors are the solution. Rather than cutting the insulation circumferentially, these T-taps hold the wire to be tapped securely and pierce the insulation at a single point to minimize damage and promote reliability. Because of the unique threaded design, concerns about sheared strands or insulation that has been insufficiently penetrated are removed. The sturdy housing is well insulated to prevent dead shorts to ground, making them invaluable for interior use—and they're reusable, too. These taps are suitable for 20-22 gauge wires.
