When the original equipment front lower rearward control arms fail on certain Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger, Challenger and Magnum vehicles, the bushings are often the reason. The factory bushings are undersized for certain applications and made from rubber that prematurely weakens and breaks down. Replacing a failed arm with another OEM arm or with an aftermarket product that lacks a more durable bushing can lead to similar future failures and potential driveabilty issues.
