The original equipment automatic transmission oil cooler bypass valve on certain Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep vehicles can fail and cause transmission cooling issues that can harm the performance and shorten the life of the transmission. This Dorman OE FIX bypass valve features a redesigned thermostat that opens at a lower temperature than the factory valve allows. This upgrade enables the transmission fluid to begin circulating through the cooler at lower temperatures to help extend the performance, reliability and service life of the transmission.
