Certain vehicles use transmission cooler bypass modules to help transmission fluid reach a specified temperature more quickly. The thermostatic valve within the module can get stuck, preventing proper operation and causing abnormally high fluid temperatures leading to costly transmission damage. This cooler line is designed to match the fit of the original equipment line but does not include a bypass valve.
