When the original failure-prone wireless ignition module, or wireless ignition node (WIN), on certain Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles isn't functioning properly, the symptoms are more than just inconvenient - they render the vehicle unusable. That's because the WIN is an integrated electronic receiver that communicates through the powertrain control module (PCM) with multiple onboard convenience and safety systems, including the keyless entry remote and starter. When the WIN fails, the vehicle cannot be started with the keyless remote and the park/shift interlock cannot be disabled. This direct replacement wireless ignition module is designed to match the fit and function of the original module, and will restore the critical communication between the key fob, module and PCM to ensure the operation of those systems and other factory-installed features to original equipment standards. It is manufactured with durable materials and engineered for reliable performance.
