Eagle Chevrolet 427/454 Balanced Competition Rotating Assembly Kit

If you're building a high-performance Chevrolet engine for racing, especially one that will see nitrous or forced induction, a balanced rotating assembly is a critical starting point. This kit from Eagle is designed to handle the stresses of serious competition.

Inside this kit, you'll find a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, ready to be the backbone of your build. Paired with it are 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability under load, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from Mahle, featuring a -3cc flat top design and a 4.310-inch bore size, which work well with many common cylinder head combinations. You also get plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, giving you the flexibility to achieve a precise seal in your cylinders. To top it off, the assembly includes King XP rod and main bearings, chosen for their durability in demanding applications.

This is a fully balanced assembly, meaning the crankshaft, rods, and pistons are balanced together at the factory, saving you significant machine shop time and ensuring smooth operation. Keep in mind that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It's a well-built foundation for a powerful racing engine.
