Starting with a 3.480-inch cast crankshaft, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is built for street performance on Chevy 305 engines. It's designed for pump gas, naturally aspirated applications, making it a solid choice for rebuilding or upgrading your engine's core rotating components. The assembly includes everything you need to get your short block ready for the rest of your build.

The 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods are forged from strong 8740 chromoly steel and come with 3/8-inch ARP bolts, ensuring they can handle the stresses of regular driving and spirited use. Paired with these rods are hypereutectic KB pistons, featuring a -5cc flat top design that works well with various compression ratios. These pistons are fitted with plasma-moly standard gap rings for good sealing and reduced friction. To complete the package, King rod and main bearings are included, offering reliable lubrication and smooth operation for the crankshaft and connecting rods.

This assembly is balanced from the factory, which is a critical step in ensuring your engine runs smoothly and lasts longer. Balancing reduces vibration and stress on other engine components.
