If you're rebuilding a Chevy 327 engine for serious performance, a balanced rotating assembly is the heart of your build. This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is designed to handle the demands of racing, including applications using nitrous or forced induction. It brings together a strong forged crankshaft, robust connecting rods, and precisely matched pistons to form a cohesive unit that's ready to be installed.

At its core is a 3.250-inch forged 4340 steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under high stress. Paired with this are 5.700-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their solid construction and ability to withstand significant loads. These rods come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their reliability in high-performance engines. The assembly includes 4.040-inch Mahle pistons, featuring a 5cc dome design and plasma-moly file-fit rings. These pistons are made from 4032 aluminum, which offers a good balance of strength and thermal expansion properties for performance use. To ensure smooth operation and longevity, the assembly is completed with King XP rod and main bearings.
