Forged 4340 steel is the foundation of this Eagle rotating assembly, featuring a 3.750-inch stroke crankshaft. This is a critical choice for building a Chevy 350 engine intended for demanding use, especially in racing applications where strength and reliability under stress are paramount. The assembly includes 5.700-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their robust design, which are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. Complementing the crank and rods are 4.000-inch forged 4032 aluminum pistons from Icon. These pistons feature an inverted dome design with a -18cc volume, which helps achieve a specific compression ratio when paired with the correct cylinder heads. The assembly comes complete with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to match your engine's bore and intended use. King XP rod and main bearings are also included, offering well-built lubrication surfaces for the crankshaft and connecting rods.
