If you're building a high-performance Chevy 350 engine, especially one intended for racing applications like nitrous or forced induction, a balanced rotating assembly is a critical starting point. At its core is a 3.750-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, known for its strength and durability. Paired with this are 5.700-inch H-beam connecting rods, which are robust enough for serious power. These rods come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a well-regarded choice for their strength and reliability in high-stress environments. The pistons are forged 4032 Mahle flat-tops with a -5cc dish, designed for a 4.060-inch bore, and they include plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise ring gap setting tailored to your specific build. To complete the assembly, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and performance.
