If you're building a high-performance naturally aspirated Chevy 350 engine for racing, a balanced rotating assembly is a critical starting point. At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4140 crankshaft with a 3.750-inch stroke, paired with strong 5.700-inch 4340 I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with robust 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, ensuring they stay put under high stress. The pistons are forged 4032 Icon inverted dome units with an -18cc dish, designed for a 4.040-inch bore, and come with plasma-moly file-fit rings. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the assembly also includes King XP rod and main bearings.
