These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under high stress, making this assembly well-suited for demanding applications like racing, nitrous, or forced induction setups.

The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from Mahle, featuring a -5cc flat top design and a 4.040-inch bore size. This combination works to achieve a specific compression ratio, important for tuning engine performance. The assembly also includes plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, which allow for precise gap setting to match your engine's bore and intended use, helping to ensure good sealing and oil control. King XP series rod and main bearings are included, offering improved durability and performance over standard bearings, especially in high-load situations.
