This Eagle rotating assembly starts with a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft designed for internal balance, meaning the counterweights are balanced against the reciprocating mass of the pistons and rods without needing an external counterweight on the flexplate or flywheel. The crankshaft is paired with 5.700-inch 5140 I-beam connecting rods, which are a well-built choice for handling the stresses of performance engines. These rods come equipped with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in high-stress environments.

The pistons included are forged 4032 aluminum from Icon, featuring an inverted dome design with -10cc volume, intended to achieve a specific compression ratio when paired with your cylinder heads. These pistons are designed for a 4.030-inch bore size. They come with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, which allow for precise gapping to match your engine's specific needs and operating conditions, contributing to better sealing and performance.
