The crankshaft is paired with 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods made from strong 4340 steel, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. This combination is designed to handle the stresses of performance engines.

The assembly includes 4.040-inch forged 4032 ICON pistons featuring an -18cc inverted dome design, which helps achieve a specific compression ratio when paired with the right cylinder heads. These pistons come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap adjustment during installation to optimize sealing and performance.
