Starting with a 4.000-inch forged 4140 crankshaft, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is built for naturally-aspirated racing applications in Chevy 4.8L and 5.3L LS engines. The crankshaft includes a 24-tooth reluctor wheel, essential for proper engine management system operation. This assembly is precision balanced, meaning the critical components are weighted and matched to reduce vibration and improve overall engine smoothness and longevity under stress.

The connecting rods are robust 6.125-inch long 4340 I-beam units, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. These rods are known for their strength and ability to handle the demands of performance engines. Paired with the rods are forged 4032 DSS pistons, featuring an inverted dome design with a -29cc volume, which is crucial for achieving specific compression ratios. These pistons come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap adjustment to optimize sealing and performance. King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering improved durability and reduced friction for critical rotating components.
