This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly gives you a complete package for building a high-performance Chevy 400 engine. Inside this kit, you'll find a 3.750-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, ready to handle serious power. It's paired with 5.700-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability in demanding applications. These rods come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a solid choice for ensuring secure connections under high stress.

The pistons included are forged 4032 Mahle flat tops, measuring 4.125 inches in diameter with a -5cc dish. These are designed to work with the included plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, allowing for precise gap setting during installation. To round out the assembly, King XP rod and main bearings are provided, offering robust lubrication and wear protection for the crankshaft journals. This combination is engineered for all forms of racing, including setups using nitrous oxide or forced induction.

When assembling a performance engine like this, proper balancing is crucial. While this assembly is a well-built foundation, it's recommended to have the complete rotating assembly professionally balanced by a machine shop before installation.
