This assembly includes a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, which is a good starting point for many Chevy 400 builds. Paired with it are 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a notable upgrade that ensures reliable clamping force under stress. The pistons are forged 4032 DSS units, featuring an inverted dome design with a -16cc volume and a 4.185-inch bore size. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to match your cylinder walls. To complete the package, King SI rod and main bearings are included, providing essential lubrication and support for the rotating assembly.
