Eagle is well-known for making strong engine components, and this balanced rotating assembly is a prime example of their work for Chevy 400 engines. This assembly is designed for street vehicles running on pump gas and naturally aspirated setups. It’s a complete package that takes the guesswork out of building a reliable engine.

At the heart of this assembly is a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, paired with 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are fitted with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in demanding applications. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a -23cc inverted dome design and a 4.155-inch bore size. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, which allow for precise gap setting to match your specific engine build. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the assembly includes King rod and main bearings.

This assembly comes balanced from the factory, saving you a significant step and ensuring proper engine operation right out of the box.
