Eagle is well-known for building solid rotating assemblies for performance applications, and this balanced assembly for Chevy 400 engines is no exception. It's designed for street vehicles running on pump gas and naturally aspirated setups, making it a great choice for many builds. This kit takes the guesswork out of matching critical rotating components, ensuring they work together harmoniously right out of the box.

At the heart of this assembly is a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, paired with 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a strong choice for reliable performance. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from Mahle, featuring a -5cc flat top design and a 4.125-inch bore size, ready to be fitted with the included plasma-moly standard gap rings. For smooth operation and durability, the assembly comes with King SI rod and main bearings.

This is a complete balanced assembly, meaning the crankshaft, rods, pistons, rings, bearings, damper, and flexplate have been pre-balanced at the factory. This balanced rotating assembly includes everything you need to get started on your engine build. Please note that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
