If you're building a street-driven Chevy 400 engine that runs on pump gas and isn't force-fed, Eagle's Street & Strip Rotating Assembly is a solid choice to get your project rolling. This assembly bundles together the core components you need to get your short block assembled, saving you time and ensuring compatibility between the crank, rods, and pistons. It's designed to handle the demands of a naturally aspirated setup, making it a popular option for many street performance builds.

At the heart of this assembly is a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, paired with 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in performance applications. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a -5cc flat top design and measuring 4.165 inches in diameter. They come complete with plasma-moly file-fit rings, which allow for precise gapping to match your engine's specific needs. To round out the package, King SI rod and main bearings are included, offering good performance for street applications.
