This assembly starts with a forged 4340 crankshaft featuring a 3.750-inch stroke, providing a solid foundation for increased displacement and power. Paired with this are 5.700-inch I-beam connecting rods, also made from strong 4340 steel, and secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts for reliable clamping force under stress. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a -5cc flat top design and a 4.185-inch bore, which are crucial for achieving the correct compression ratio and fitment within your 400 block. The kit also includes plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance. Finally, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and smooth operation for the rotating assembly.
