Built with a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, this Eagle rotating assembly is a solid foundation for your Chevy 400 engine build, especially if you're aiming for a street-driven vehicle that runs on pump gas and isn't force-fed air. The 6.000-inch I-beam connecting rods are forged from strong steel and come equipped with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their reliability in holding critical components together under stress.

The assembly includes Mahle 4.165-inch forged pistons, featuring an inverted dome design with a -16cc volume, paired with plasma-moly standard gap rings. These pistons are made from 4032 aluminum, which offers a good balance of strength and thermal expansion for street applications. For the bottom end, you'll find King rod and main bearings, chosen for their proven performance in managing friction and wear. This entire package is balanced at the factory, saving you a significant step in the engine building process.

Beyond the core rotating assembly, this kit comes complete with a damper to control crankshaft harmonics and a flexplate, making it a comprehensive solution for your engine's bottom end.
