This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly starts with a 3.750-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, a solid foundation for serious engine builds. It’s designed to work with Chevy 400 and 350 mains, offering a versatile option for those looking to build or rebuild a high-performance V8. The choice of 4340 forged steel for the crank means it can handle significant stress, making it suitable for demanding applications.

Complementing the crankshaft are 6.000-inch H-beam connecting rods, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. These rods are well-known for their strength and ability to withstand high RPMs and increased cylinder pressures, which is crucial for racing. The assembly includes forged 4032 DSS pistons with an inverted dome design, measuring 4.155 inches in bore diameter and featuring a -16cc dish. This piston design is often chosen to achieve specific compression ratios when paired with different cylinder heads. The kit also comes with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, allowing for precise ring gap adjustment to optimize performance and sealing, and King XP rod and main bearings, which offer improved durability and load-carrying capacity.
