This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is built for serious performance, specifically for Chevy 427 and 454 big-block engines. What you get in this kit is a complete package designed to handle the demands of racing, including applications with nitrous or forced induction. It includes a 3.766-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, a set of 6.135-inch H-beam connecting rods secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, and Icon 4.310-inch closed chamber dome pistons with a 10.2cc volume. To round it out, you'll find plasma-moly file-fit rings and King XP rod and main bearings.

The choice of a forged 4340 steel crankshaft means you have a strong foundation that can withstand higher cylinder pressures and RPMs compared to cast cranks. The H-beam connecting rods are also a robust choice for performance builds, offering excellent strength-to-weight ratio. These rods are paired with high-quality ARP 8740 bolts, known for their reliability in high-stress environments. The Icon pistons are forged from 4032 aluminum, which offers good thermal expansion properties for a tighter piston-to-wall clearance, and the closed chamber dome design is optimized for specific combustion chamber volumes, helping to achieve your desired compression ratio. The plasma-moly file-fit rings allow for precise gapping to match your engine's bore and intended use, ensuring good sealing and oil control.
