Eagle is well-known for making strong internal engine components, and this competition rotating assembly is a prime example of their work for Chevy 454 engines. At the heart of this assembly is a 4.000-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, chosen for its durability under demanding conditions. Paired with this are 6.135-inch H-beam connecting rods, which are known for their robust design and ability to withstand high loads. These rods come with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their strength and reliability in performance applications. The pistons are forged 2618 ICON units, featuring a 27cc closed chamber dome design and a 4.250-inch bore size, ready for a significant compression ratio. To ensure proper ring seal and longevity, the assembly includes plasma-moly file-fit rings. Finally, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and performance, even under extreme operating temperatures and pressures.
